| At 1st level, a kineticist chooses one primary element on which to focus. This element determines how she accesses the raw power of the Ethereal Plane, and grants her access to specific wild talents and additional class skills. She gains her selected element's basic utility wild talent (basic aerokinesis, etc.) as a bonus wild talent. |
Elemental Focus is one of many Class Features available in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Class Features are generally passive benefits that characters gain based on their Class but can also sometimes be active Skills that you can use in combat. Abilities in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous can be used for both dealing damage to Enemies, inflict Status Ailments, buff characters or just protect you.

this ability is not working for wizards. neither regular elemental attacks of the chosen element and certainly not any random spell whose element is converted to your chosen element, for elemental specialist wizards in particular. also triggers a bug removing the saving throws from appearing in the combat log about 80% of the time. spell penetration showed up every time, saving throws would appear over the enemy's head as (x of 20) indicating what they rolled, but the modifiers and results only appeared in the log about 20 percent of the time.
