      He's chaotic evil. The writers for this game don't understand alignments or morality. Why was he allowed to keep his paladin powers after going against his own goddess's code of ethics?

          If you romance Camellia, he is on her hit-list. Where the Knight-Commander can say "Yup, Hulrun's good. Go ahead." - On the condition you allow and accept Camellia's... eccentricities.

          I was personally torn, having played through the game prior about killing him, but honestly. He's a massive wad, with a single redeeming moment, all the way near the end.
