Intelligence is an Attribute in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Intelligence determines how well your character learns and reasons. This ability is important for Wizards because it affects their spellcasting ability in many ways.
A character with an Intelligence score of 0 is comatose. Some creatures do not possess an Intelligence score. Their modifier is +0 for any Intelligence-based skills or checks. Creatures of animal-level instinct have Intelligence scores of 1 or 2. Any creature capable of understanding speech has a score of at least 3.
Intelligence Information & Notes
You apply your character’s Intelligence modifier to:
Characters add one-half their Intelligence modifier to their class Skill points per level. Therefore, if your Intelligence modifier is an odd number (+1, +3), you will notice that you gain a different number of skill points each level. Note that only base Intelligence is used to calculate Skill points : magic items and effects do not affect your Skill points. If your Intelligence modifier goes up from adding an Ability point (each 4 levels), you retroactively gain Skill points.
Wizards and Alchemists gains bonus spells based on his Intelligence score. The minimum Intelligence score needed to cast a wizard spell is 10 + the spell’s level.
