Effect

You make a single attack that deals significantly more damage than normal.

Benefit: As a standard action, you can make one attack at your highest base attack bonus that deals additional damage. Roll the weapon's damage dice for the attack twice and add the results together before adding bonuses from Strength, weapon abilities (such as flaming), precision-based damage, and other damage bonuses. These extra weapon damage dice are not multiplied on a critical hit, but are added to the total.

Vital Strike is a Feat in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Feats are special talents or expertises that provide special capabilities to characters. At certain levels, your character will get to choose between an Ability Score Improvement Feature or a Feat.

      on the dragon mythic path, at level 10, your damage becomes all holy damage. this seems to trigger vital strike to stop working entirely. mythic 9, everything works. mythic 10, regular, improved, and greater vital strike function as regular single attacks. in the log, it shows x-character uses vital strike as a blank text box, then shows a regular weapon attack calculation immediately after. there are only a couple of fights left in the game at that point, but it does include the final boss with a nerfed main character. companions with vital strike still function as normal.
