The character can react to danger before his senses would normally allow him to do so. He cannot be caught Flat-Footed, nor does he lose his Dexterity bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible. He still loses his Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. A character with this ability can still lose his Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action against him.

If a character already has uncanny dodge from a different class, he automatically gains improved uncanny dodge instead.

Uncanny Dodge is one of many Class Features available in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Class Features are generally passive benefits that characters gain based on their Class but can also sometimes be active Skills that you can use in combat. Abilities in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous can be used for both dealing damage to Enemies, inflict Status Ailments, buff characters or just protect you.

      Another way to gain uncanny dodge is to get "powerless prophecy" oracle curse. It can be gained at 1st level with an oracle or stigmatized witch by selecting this curse. However the curse also causes you to become staggered at the first round of combat.
