As he gains levels, a magus learns arcane secrets tailored to his specific way of blending martial puissance and magical skill. Starting at 3rd level, a magus gains one magus arcana. He gains an additional magus arcana for every three levels of magus attained after 3rd level. Unless specifically noted in a magus arcana's description, a magus cannot select a particular magus arcana more than once.

Magus Arcana is a one of many Class Features in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Class Features are generally passive benefits that characters gain based on their Class but can also some times be active Skills that you can use in combat. Abilities in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous can be used for both dealing damage to Enemies, inflict Status Ailments , buff characters or just protect you.

Arcane Accuracy Benefit: The magus can expend 1 point from his arcane pool as a swift action to grant himself an insight bonus equal to his Intelligence bonus on all attack rolls until the end of his turn.  Level: N/A
Bane Blade

Benefit: Whenever the magus enhances his weapon using his arcane pool, he may spend 1 additional point from his arcane pool to add the bane special ability to the weapon.

Devoted Blade Benefit: Whenever the magus enhances his weapon using his arcane pool, he may spend 1 additional point from his arcane pool to add either the anarchic, axiomatic, holy, or unholy special ability to the list of available options. A magus may only add one of these abilities if it matches his own alignment. Level: 12
Dimension Blade (Accurate Strike) Benefit: The magus can expend 2 points from his arcane pool as a swift action to resolve all of his melee weapon attacks until the end of his turn as melee touch attacks. Level: 9
Empowered Magic Benefit: The magus can cast three spells per day as if it were modified by the Empower Spell feat. Level: 6
Enduring Blade

Benefit: Whenever the magus enchants his weapon using his arcane pool, he may spend 1 additional point from his arcane pool to increase the duration to 1 minute per magus level.

Extended Magic Benefit: The magus can cast three spells per day as if it were modified by the Extend Spell feat. Level: N/A
Ghost Blade Benefit: Whenever the magus enchants his weapon using his arcane pool, he adds the brilliant energy and ghost touch special abilities to the list of available options. Level: 9
Hasted Assault Benefit: The magus can expend 1 point from his arcane pool as a swift action to move more quickly. This functions as haste, but only targets the magus and lasts for a number of rounds equal to the magus’s Intelligence bonus. Level: 9
Mazimized Magic

Benefit: The magus can cast three spells per day as if it were modified by the Maximize Spell feat.

Prescient Attack

Benefit: The magus can expend 1 point from his arcane pool as an immediate action after hitting a target with a weapon attack, allowing him to anticipate his opponent’s defenses. The target is denied its Dexterity bonus against the magus’s attacks until the end of the magus’s next turn.

Quickened Magic

Benefit: The magus can cast three spells per day as if it were modified by the Quicken Spell feat.

Reach Magic

Benefit: The magus can cast three spells per day as if it were modified by the Reach Spell feat.

Wand Mastery Benefit: Whenever the magus uses a wand, he calculates the DC for any spell it contains using his Intelligence modifier, instead of the minimum modifier needed to cast a spell of that level. Level: N/A
Wand Wielder Benefit: The magus can activate a wand or staff in place of casting a spell when using spell combat. Level: N/A

Magus Arcana Tips & Notes

  • At the time of this being written, the mythic ability Enduring Spells applies to all magic abilities with a duration including spending Arcane Pool points on enhancement bonuses. This makes Enduring Blade even more effective than it may first appear as its duration will be 24 hours once Greater Enduring Spells is acquired.
  • The feat Extra Arcana adds 2 points to your Arcane Pool and can be selected multiple times.
  • The Abundent Arcane Pool mythic ability increases the number of points in your Arcane Pool by an amount equal to your mythic rank.
  • If playing a Trickster Mythic Path Magus, Wand Wielder and Wand Mastery are extremely efficient with the Rank 2 version of the Use Magic Device Mythic Trick. Wands you cast from will use your Caster Level, Intelligence Modifier, and have unlimited charges allowing you to use Spell Strike or Spell Combat with higher level spells indefinitely.
