Classes in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous determine your character's abilities, ability scores and how they will develop as they increase in level. In Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, each class has different archetypes that serve as subclasses. Some Classes have certain requirements, and can only be selected after reaching a certain level.
You can check Mythic Paths for information on the different Mythic Paths you can select during your adventures.
How to Pick a Class
Picking the right class for your play style is an important part of Character Creation. Certain Races may have better affinity to specific Classes and Archetypes, for example. Additionally, you may want to opt for unique schools of magic based on Role-Play or simple preference. If you want to optimize your character and party, we suggest you check out our Builds section.
What are Prestige Classes?
Prestige classes allow characters to become truly exceptional, specializing in and gaining powers beyond the ken of their peers. Unlike base classes, characters must meet specific requirements (see each prestige class for details) before they can take their first level of a prestige class.
What are Class Archetypes?
Each base class draws upon a central ideal, a basic concept. A class archetype is an alternate version of that class with a modified set of abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. This offers a quick and easy way to specialize and customize characters of a given class to your liking.

Click the table header to sort. This is a comparative table showing the difficulty scale and proficiency of each basic class in WotR. The higher the number, the more proficient the class is with that specific column. For difficulty, the highest the number the more complex the class is. Prestige classes are not included in this table, as they have no official rankings

Prestige Classes in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
Arcane Trickster
Arcane Tricksters use both magic and rogue abilities. They can perform sneak attacks regardless of the enemy awareness and become invisible using magic.
Assassin
Deadly loners, assassins are trained as merciless killers, adept at silent murder in any number of ways. Assassins are generally mercenary in their approach to death as they are aware of the vast sums their skills are worth.
Stalwart Defender
Stalwart Defenders focus on defensive abilities. They sacrifice damage and mobility while gaining damage reduction and better save throws.
Eldritch Knight
Eldritch Knights fight in close quarter combat or can use magic abilities from a distance. They can be very versatile, adjusting to any situation.
Dragon Disciple
Dragon Disciples use magic and dragon powers in battle. They receive additional ability scores and can transform into a dragon.
Hellknight
Not all who start as novice armigers have what it takes to become a full-fledged Hell Knight, but those who do receive a wide array of abilities as they grow more powerful. While the individual powers and focus of a particular Hell Knight vary according to his order, all Hell Knights are universally feared and respected in regions where they maintain a presence. Most Hell Knights are lawful neutral and proudly avoid being “tainted” by distractions such as good or evil, but some who rise in power shift toward tyrannical and cruel natures.
Mystic Theurge
Mystic Theurges can perform magic to aid allies or harm enemies. They have a special ability that allows casting two spells at once.
Duelist
Duelists focus on close quarter combat and dodging. They sacrifice armor capabilities to gain additional dodge chance and damage for critical strikes.
Aldori Swordlord
The swordlords follow no singular path to dueling mastery-some of those who take up the blade only dabble in its use, while others explore swordplay with the dueling weapon in unconventional ways.
Student of War
The path of the student of war is particularly enticing to martially minded characters who seek to enhance and expand their mastery of skills. Students of war often pride themselves in studying topics that combat-focused types might not normally find value in, and their ability to thaw upon unexpected lore and information has become something of a legend among their kind.
Hellknight Signifer
Hellknight signifers form the spellcasting arm of the Hellknight orders. They serve as faceless enforcers of order and use their magical powers to relentlessly root out and punish criminals to the letter of the law. They wear masks — often featureless — to mark themselves as impersonal agents of order, unswayed by empathy.
Loremaster
The loremaster is a gatherer and keeper of secrets. He is often obsessed by the written word, with cryptic and arcane lore serving as his devoted mistress. Holding to the adage that knowledge is power, the loremaster often forsakes material wealth and personal glory for rare or unusual information, an endless quest that brings him ever closer to his unattainable goal: perfection through edification. Often rejecting what he views as the pointless affectations and transitory pleasures of his short-sighted neighbors, the loremaster believes that the only worthwhile goal in life is the acquisition of intellectual might. After all, wealth is spent, passions fade, and the power of the body is limited by age, while the mind’s capacity to grow greater with time is infinite.
Winter Witch
The otherworldly powers of winter witches are inextricably linked with the frozen outer-realms.
Just an editing correction: Vanguard (a subclass of Slayer) is tagged as a class and appears in the tag cloud instead of Eldritch Knight, which is a proper prestige class.

Where are the links to the prestige classes? I already know what that is, but the class listings here don't include them. Using wiki search I find a half dozen or so, none of which link back to a page listing them all.

Much better than Kingmaker where I couldn't find a single class interesting enough to play, there is hope

Anyone else getting a little Ragnarok Online vibe from the classes?

With levels in Mythic Hero from the plot will no character be able to reach 20th level of there main class?

Soooo, I know that this has been here a while, but I did want to know how the ratings were determined. I want to understand, for example, why is an Alchemist a better supporter than a Druid, Skald, or even the Inquisitor? I just can't see it. I know that they can share personal spells (with a discovery) but I don't see how that's better than any full caster using support spells.
