Companion Builds

All Companions have a Class, and it is important to have a complete Party formation. It's not recommended to Multiclass, and turn Auto Leveling up for your Companions, to only manage their equipment. You can achieve better control by turning on turn-based combat when it's necessary.

Cavalier Build: How to / Class Guide

The Cavalier Class is one of the new Classes. In this Guide you’ll learn not only how to play the Cavalier Class, but also what the differences are between the Cavalier Archetypes: Beast Rider, Cavalier of the Paw, Disciple of the Pike, Fearsome Leader, Gendarme, Knight of the Wall, and Standard Bearer.

There will of course be tips about which Abilities, Skills and Feats to take, along with some suggestions about how to play the Class effectively (including how Mounted Combat Works in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous). This will not be a copy of the Pathfinder Handbook, and I will attempt to summarize things (where applicable) to make it easier to understand, because I feel that a big part of the reason people need Guides for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, is that it can be a bit overwhelming to sift through this on your own. If you’re new to Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, or you would just like an overview of the Cavalier Class and how to make an effective one, this Cavalier Build Guide is for you.

Best Class in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous – In this Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous article I want to discuss what the Best Class for you is, or how you choose a Class if you’re new to the game. Now that WotR has finally released in full, a lot of people have been asking the questions: “What Class should I play?“, and “What is the best Class for me?“. While it’s not an easy question to answer there are some ways to narrow it down for you. How exactly you go about doing that is what I’ll explain in this Guide. Some of these things will be obvious, but others not so much.

Feature: You can have an animal companion with this build, both your character and your animal companion can benefit from team feats and can trip enemies. Causing a lot of attacks of opportunities.

Your movement speed can reach 50ft, allowing your character to rush enemy casters with ease.

Great tank build, most enemies will never hit you unless you are paralyzed or otherwise denied dex/dodge bonus to armor. Your damage will be more than fine as well. Strong all game long. Not a lot of skill points, but only thing you really need on main character (MC) is persuasion.

Has CC effects for every save, Attack the lowest. Pit/grease/vinetrap for reflex, Stinking Cloud for Fortitude, Chains of Light for Will.

Heighten all your CC spells. And damage spells too if you need something on the level.
