This lone scabbard without a blade that belonged inside seems out of place. The overall design is reminiscent of the Aroden's era and his clerics. The marks on the scabbard suggest that the clerics have died saving people from demons when the Worldwound opened, despite having lost their powers after the death of their deity. However, even now you can wield the powers once bound to this item.
