Winter Child is a Druid archetype in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
Your or one of your ancestors hails from Irrisen, and some spark of the icy region’s magic has manifested itself within your bones. The blood of Baba Yaga’s legacy runs in your veins, and you are at one with the mysteries and dangers of the frozen land.
Winter Child Information
- Base Class: Druid
- Alignment: Any Neutral.
- High saves: Fortitude and Will.
- Class skills: Lore (Nature), Knowledge (World), Perception, Athletics, Knowledge (Arcana).
- Proficient with all Simple Weapons. Also proficient with Light Armor, but not Shields.

Winter Child Abilities
Call a Feast
All creatures summoned by the winter child gain cold resistance 5. At 10th level, this resistance increases to 10, and the creatures gain the effects of the blink spell. At 15th level, this resistance increases to 15, and the creatures' attacks deal an additional 2d6 cold damage. A winter child cannot summon fire elementals.
Arctic Native
At 4th level, a winter child gains cold resistance 5. At 8th level and every 4 levels thereafter, this resistance increases by 5. The winter child also becomes immune to being dazzled.
This replaces resist nature's lure.
Ice in the Blood
At 1st level, a winter child must select the ice subdomain when choosing a domain. This replaces nature bond.
Blizzard Servant
At 4th level, a winter child forms a bond with a blizzard elemental. This ability functions like the druid's animal companion ability, except that the winter child's effective druid level is equal to her druid level -3 and she can only select a blizzard elemental as her companion.
This replaces wild shape.
Blizzard Servant - Winter's Advance
At 6th level, a winter child strengthens the bond between her and her companion, imbuing it with her own power. Her blizzard servant gains the following benefits:
Medium size, +2 bonus to Strength, +4 bonus to Dexterity, +2 bonus to Constitution, and cold resistance 10. If the Winter Child already has an animal companion, it only receives half the bonuses and does not increase in size.
Snowcaster
At 9th level, as a swift action, a winter child can change the damage type of her spells to cold. In addition, she can see normally inside the area of the ice storm spell or in similar natural snowstorms.
Call a Feast - Cover of Snow
At 10th level, all creatures summoned by the winter child gain cold resistance 10 and the effects of the blink spell.
Blizzard Servant - Crystallized Affinity
At 11th level, a winter child strengthens the bond between her and her companion, imbuing it with her own power. Her blizzard servant gains the following benefits:
Large size, +4 bonus to Strength and Dexterity, +2 bonus to Constitution, +2 natural armor bonus to AC, DR 5/-, and cold resistance 20. In addition, its
whirlwind of hail ability no longer affects allies. If the Winter Child already has an animal companion, it only receives half the bonuses and does not increase in size.
Call a Feast - Biting Frost
At 15th level, all creatures summoned by the winter child gain cold resistance 15, and their attacks deal an additional 2d6 cold damage.
Blizzard Servant - Crystallized Affinity
At 16th level, a winter child sacrifices a part of her soul to let a great blizzard spirit into the material world. Her blizzard servant gains the following benefits:
Huge size, +4 bonus to Strength, +6 bonus to Dexterity, +2 bonus to Constitution, +2 natural armor bonus to AC, the numbing cold ability, and cold resistance 30. If the Winter Child already has an animal companion, it only receives half the bonuses and does not increase in size. In addition, whenever an ally hits an enemy affected by the blizzard servant's whirlwind of hail ability, that enemy takes an additional 2d6 cold damage.
Flurry Form
At 20th level, a winter child gains the elemental subtype and immunity to cold. She is also considered a native outsider when determining the effects of any spells and spell-like abilities. Lastly, the winter child becomes airborne, which grants her immunity to ground-based effects and trip.
