Prophet of Pestilence is a sub-class in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Shamans draw upon their power to shape the world and expand the influence of their spiritual patrons. These divine adventurers have strong ties to natural spirits. They form powerful bonds with particular spirits, and as their power grows they learn to call upon other spirits in times of need.
"This is a shaman who has bound their soul to Apollyon, one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the semi-divine entities that rule in Abaddon. Their area of influence is plague, decay, and rot, and they lavish their gifts upon their follower. This archetype’s main ability is the uniquely customizable Plague of Abaddon hex. The shaman can enhance it by weakening their victims so that their suffering feeds the spirit contained within the shaman’s body. Over time, enemies who attack or draw too near the shaman may find their bodies and minds infected – only to fall to the merciless spells of the Prophet, who revels in their torment. This archetype also gains several new spells related to its essence. The most significant of these is Living Plague. The shaman summons a sea of insects that devours everything in its path, and which infects and destroys all living things. Enemies who fall under the influence of this ability disgorge new parts of the swarm from their own bodies, which pounce on their prey. Devour your enemies on your path to greatness!

Prophet of Pestilence Special Abilities
Pestilence Spirit
A shaman who selects the pestilence spirit is full of feverish, sickly energy and has an appearance that disgusts most sentient beings. When she calls upon one of this spirit's abilities, the disease recedes, bringing relief and satisfaction, only to return a moment later.
Plague of Abaddon
The prophet of pestilence releases a disease agent that invades her opponent. The target must succeed at a Fortitude save or become infected with the plague of Abaddon. The plague lasts for a number of rounds equal to the shaman's level or until the target succeeds at a Fortitude save. Targets only become immune to plague of Abaddon after successfully recovering from it. This is a disease effect.
Carrier of Disease
At 2nd level, a prophet of pestilence gains the plague of Abaddon hex and also selects one of its mutations. At 6th level and every 4 levels thereafter, she selects an additional mutation for her plague of Abaddon hex. This replaces her choice of hex at 2nd, 10th, 14th, and 18th levels, as well as the wandering hex class feature.
Mutating Strain
At 4th level, a prophet of pestilence becomes immune to the sickened condition and gains a +4 bonus on all saving throws against effects that cause nausea or disease. At 12th level, she becomes immune to the nauseated condition and all poisons and diseases, including natural and supernatural diseases. In addition, all her disease effects have their DC increased by 2. This replaces wandering spirit and its greater version.
A Thousand Diseases
At 20th level, all enemies infected with any disease that come within 30 feet of the prophet of pestilence are affected by her plague of Abaddon hex. Enemies not suffering from diseases must succeed at a Fortitude saving throw or be affected by plague of Abaddon. This replaces the true version of wandering spirit.
