Odan's Request is a Quest in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Quests can provide unique adventuring experience, as well as powerful gears and treasures. Some quests are time-limited and some can only be completed with certain companions.

Odan's Request Walkthrough

As soon as the Military Council decides how best to fight the Champions of the Abyss at max Military rank, Captain Odan will make a request to meet the commander. Walk outside and to the player's left to talk to Odan. He will request that the commander allow him to face the Champions of the Abyss in battle, leaving the player with 2 choices: 

• If you indulge in his request, Odan will be recruited as a General and will need to be assigned to one of your crusader armies the next time you are on the campaign screen. Odan is an impressive Level 15 Elf Ranger General who starts with a staggering list of skills, including Master of Maneuver 4, (allowing for a massive army), Burning Liquid, (direct damage), Hunt (a huge debuff to all enemies for 3 rounds), Favored Enemy: Large Enemies, and Preparation (places a trap on the field immdiatley at the start of combat). While he may lag behind a level 15 Mage General in terms of enemy damage output, his raw stats and versatile skills certainly allow him to warrant consideration. 
• If you decide to refuse his request, Odan will instead stay behind and help with backline matters. This gives a 15,000 exp boost to the Crusade's Military, Diplomatic, and Logistics stats, which you can check by mousing over the top-left castle icon in the Manage Crusade menu. Typically, this will result in a level-up for at least one of these ranks. If you already have Generals that you are comfortable with, you can safely pick this option to raise troop morale and how much cash and mercenaries your kingdom gets.
